Which MeisterTask features use AI?
Currently, AI learning models are only used for "Ask Meister AI" (currently in Beta).
How do I disable AI features for my team?
Business team admins can restrict their team from accessing certain advanced features in MeisterTask and MeisterNote, including features which make use of machine learning models.
To set these restrictions:
- Visit the team settings page (only available to team administrators).
- Select the Permissions tab.
- Scroll down to MeisterTask Restrictions and select Edit.
- Uncheck the boxes next to the features you'd like to disable.
- Click Save changes.
How is my data processed by AI features?
Ask Meister AI and Meister's machine learning models will process your search term and will retrieve information from notes you have access to. They do not (and will never) process any other content.
Information processed by Ask Meister AI will not be used by OpenAI to train or improve its models.
What Machine Learning Models (MLMs) does Meister use?
Meister's AI features utilize two machine learning models:
- A semantic search model built by Meister
- OpenAI's GPT 3.5
Information processed by the "Ask Meister AI Feature" will not be used by OpenAI to train or improve its models. Any data processed by this feature will be retained for abuse and misuse monitoring purposes for a maximum of 30 days, after which it will be deleted (unless otherwise required by law).

Are Meister's AI features GDPR compliant?
Yes. Information processed by the Ask Meister AI will not be used by OpenAI to train or improve its models. Any data processed by this feature will be retained for abuse and misuse monitoring purposes for a maximum of 30 days, after which it will be deleted (unless otherwise required by law).

Could AI Tools generate inaccurate or offensive content?
Due to the nature of AI and machine learning models, AI Output may not be unique and our AI features may generate inaccurate or offensive content. Any content generated by AI does not necessary represent Meister's or your views. You should examine the generated AI output carefully before relying on it, publishing it, or making any use out of it.
Is my information being sold to train other Language Learning Models (LLMs)?
No. Information processed by Meister's AI features will never be sold or used to train third-party LLMs.
