In Note, every piece of content you add to your notes is split into chunks called content blocks.
Content blocks can be text boxes, headers, lists, files, videos, or any one of the 18 different styles available. Add content blocks to quickly create beautiful and well-organized notes with just a few keystrokes.
Create a New Content Block
This quickest way to create a new content block in Note is to simply start typing!
To create a content block with a more advanced style, press the slash ( / ) key or click the plus icon (+) to open the Add block menu.
Move a Content Block
You can move any content block by clicking and dragging the block grip button (::).
- Hover your mouse over the block you'd like to move.
- Click the block grip button (⋮⋮) and drag your block to another location in your note.
Change a Content Block's Style
You can easily change the style of any content block by clicking the grip button.
- Hover your mouse over the content block you'd like to change.
- Click the block grip button (⋮⋮).
- Click the block's current style (e.g. Text or Bullet List).
- Select a new block type from the list.
Delete a Content Block
- Hover your mouse over the content block you'd like to delete.
- Click the block grip button (⋮⋮).

Click Delete Block to remove the content block from your note.
Tip
You can also delete content blocks by clearing the content within them using the backspace or delete key, then hitting backspace or delete again.
