This feature is available to all users
Users can keep track of their tasks and projects directly in their notes, giving an overview of documentation and to-dos in one space.
Create New Tasks in Your Notes
- Hover your mouse over the body of your note and click + to create a new content block.

Select Add Task from the drop-down menu.
- You have now created an "Add Task" content block. Click on your new block.
- Select a project and section for the new task.
- Type the new task's name and an optional description to the box provided.
- Select a due date and assignee for the task.
- Click Create Task.

Your new task has now been created in the chosen project board. A task preview and link will appear as a content block in your note.
Add Existing Tasks to Your Notes
- Hover your mouse over the body of your note and click + to create a new content block.

Select Add Task from the drop-down menu.
- You have now created an "Add Task" content block. Click on your block.

Click on Or link an existing Task.
- Begin typing the name of the task you want to link to.
- Click on your task from the suggested search results.

A task preview and link will now appear as a content block in your note.
Convert a Content Block Into a Task
- Hover your mouse over the block you wish to convert into a task.

Click the task icon (check mark) to the right of your content block.
- Select a project and section for your task.
- Type the new task's name and an optional description into the box provided.
- Select a due date and assignee.
- Click Create Task. Your new task has now been created in the chosen project board. The avatar of the assignee will appear next to your content block.
Edit a Task From a Note
To see all task details, open the Task Detail View on the right sidebar.
From here, you can complete a task or edit the following details:
- Task name
- Description
- Due date
- Assignee
Remove a Linked Task From Your Note
To remove a linked task from a content block or piece of text:
- Open the Task Detail View on the right sidebar.
- Choose the task.
- Click on the three dots (...) and select Unlink task.
Important
Deleting content blocks which link to a task does not delete the task.
