Use Sub-Note Templates

Basic users can save up to three sub-note templates
Pro and Business users can save an unlimited number of sub-note templates

Sub-note templates
are pre-defined sub-note formats which can be used again and again within the same top-level note. Use templates to save time and bring systematic organization to your notes.

What Are Sub-Note Templates?

Sub-note templates are predefined note formats which can be used again and again. Use templates to quickly create beautifully designed notes out of pre-formatted templates.

Create templates for sub-notes that require similar formatting and which need to be systematically organized. For example, you might find it helpful to create sub-note templates for:

  • Meeting Minutes
  • Quality Control Checklists
  • Presentation Outlines
  • Grocery/Shopping Lists

To find your templates, open any note and look on the left sidebar under Templates. Templates can be moved, edited, duplicated, deleted and archived like any other sub-note.

Create a Sub-Note Template

To create a new sub-note template, open any note and click the button next to Templates on the left sidebar.
