Basic users can save up to three templates
Pro and Business users can save an unlimited number of templates

Templates
are predefined page formats which can be used again and again within the same note. Use templates to save time and bring systematic organization to your pages.

What Are Templates?

Templates are predefined note formats which can be used again and again. Use templates to quickly create beautifully designed notes out of pre-formatted templates.

Create templates for pages that require similar formatting and which need to be systematically organized. For example, you might find it helpful to create templates for:

  • Meeting Minutes
  • Quality Control Checklists
  • Presentation Outlines
  • Grocery/Shopping Lists

To find your templates, open any note and look on the left sidebar under Templates. Templates can be moved, edited, duplicated, deleted and archived like any other page.

Create a Template

To create a new template, open any note and click the button next to Templates on the left sidebar.

You can then edit, move, delete, or archive your template as though it were a regular page.

  1. On the left sidebar, hover your mouse over the template you'd like to create a sub-note from.
