Delete and Restore Notes

This feature is available to all users.

 

You can delete notes and pages directly from the left sidebar. Deleted notes/pages are recoverable for 30 days, after which time they are permanently deleted


Delete a Note/Page

You can delete any note or page by clicking the ellipsis (...) on the left sidebar.

 

  1. Hover your mouse over the note/page you'd like to delete in the left sidebar.
  2. Click the ellipsis (...) which appears.
  3. Select Delete from the dropdown-menu.

Notes and pages can also be deleted in the note editor via the right sidebar.


Restore a Deleted Note

Deleted notes are stored for 30 days, during which time they can be restored. To restore a deleted note:

  1. Navigate to the Note Dashboard.
  2. Hover your mouse over "My Notes" on the left sidebar.
  3. Click the ellipsis (...) which appears.
  4. Select Deleted Notes from the dropdown menu. A list your deleted notes will appear below the search field.
  5. Hover your mouse over the note you'd like to restore and click the ellipsis (...) which appears.
  6. Select Restore Note. Your note will be immediately restored and moved to your list of active notes.

Restore a Deleted Page

Deleted pages are stored for 30 days, during which time they can be restored. To restore a deleted page:

  1. Navigate to the note which contains your page.
  2. Click the Pages header in the left sidebar.
  3. Select Deleted Pages from the dropdown-menu. A list your deleted pages will appear below the search field.
  4. Hover your mouse over the page you'd like to restore and click the ellipsis (...) which appears.
  5. Select Restore Page. Your page will be immediately restored and moved to your list of active pages.
